SUMMARY

The screens you have just seen only give an indication of the type of data stored, the process and the basic functionality. We can provide more detailed information during a dial-in demo, after which we can also set up the Trial Copy for your own detailed evaluation.

Ambersoft like other software companies would love you to just download our software, like what you see, and sign-up within the week (and you can do that here!).

But frankly, whether Amber-JCS or any other off-the-shelf package will work out well for you will depend in large part on your detailed requirements. A quick demo and trial before committing to a package is risky. We recommend that you take the time and trouble to establish and document your detailed requirements, before making any final decision on any software. That can help you to keep the focus on what needs to be done, rather than on what can be done. It can also help you to control the process better, by helping you to make sure that the right questions are asked and that software providers like us answer those questions.

You can if you wish download a skeleton Job Costing Requirements check-list spreadsheet from here:- www.ambersoft.co.uk/asl/jcs/JobCosting_Assessment.xls. You may well want add further questions to this list.

A trial period should then be undertaken, which should include a parallel run of at least one live or historic job (for each type of job.)

For now though, why not just look at a few of our video clips, to see if the Amber-JCS meets your broad requirements at least. The link is here - www.ambersoft.co.uk/asl/info/clips/. Bear in mind that some features or fields can be turned on to add extra functionality, and some features can be turned off if not needed (to simplify and increase user-friendliness.)
